Registered nurse and independent prescriber specialising in neurodevelopmental assessment and intervention for adults, young people and families.
Emma Wallace is Clinical Director at Diverse Diagnostics and an Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist. She provides strategic, clinical and operational leadership across the clinic's neurodevelopmental assessment and intervention services, with a focus on safe, evidence based and person centred care.
She has been a registered nurse since 2013 , with a background spanning learning disability nursing, acute paediatric liaison psychiatry and child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Ayrshire and Arran. She spent four years as an Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist in CAMHS with NHS Ayrshire and Arran before moving into her current role full time.
As an Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist she offers individual, family and group support to adults, young people and families living with neurodevelopmental conditions, using both medication based and other therapeutic approaches.
It is a core value and priority to Emma to ensure that Diverse Diagnostics provide evidence based, research backed and excellent quality patient care to patients and their families. Ensuring people have access to the support they require to understand themselves, how their brain works and improve their quality of life is pivotal to her role.
